Peak Peony season has finally arrived (…after a 3 year grow-on time!)

June 7, 2021 By luke

This weekends sweltering heat wave has our peony patch popping blooms faster than we can pick them! We’re very pleased with the quality of this seasons’ long awaited stems — these plants are well established after a three year grow on time and we can now cut them with reckless abandon without endangering the plants overall well-being.  In this heat, we’ll be sure to water them heavily for the next two months which will ensure an even more bountiful harvest next year! You won’t find some of these sought after varieties anywhere else, we’ve been sure to plant some really unique and appealing plants which we know you’ll LOVE!

Also…We’re now extending our Flower Shop hours and will be open through Sunday! Please see below for more details!

We forget to talk about anything but dahlias this We forget to talk about anything but dahlias this time of year, but there is SO MUCH great stuff coming out of the fields in September. A big crop of broom corn is what the kids are most excited about, and bundles of this decorative fall classic will be showing up around town, including @tinyheartsflowershop this week!

Over the years, everything I’ve learned about putting colors together has come from accidental pairings in harvest buckets or buckets being haphazardly put next to each other on the truck! 🤷‍♀️😍
