We offer farm tours, gardening classes, and floral design workshops that are all just as seasonal as our farm and flowers! Our hands-on design classes are taught in the workshop of our beautiful Hillsdale flower shop, or you can join us on the farm for a tour and learn how we grow. We hope you’ll peruse the scheduled events listed below and join us for a flower-immersive creative experience or a little slice of life on the flower farm!
Young and Tiny Hearts: Flower Arranging Open House for Kids! $20
Saturday May 30, 2026, 10am – 11:30 am
at Tiny Hearts Farm Flower Shop in Hillsdale, NY, as part of the Workshop Experience Weekend

Kids get creative at this flower arranging hangout just for little hands!
Kids are warmly invited to come pick out a container from our eclectic collection and fill it with flowers, foliage, and a little sparkle from our flower farm! We’ll work together at outdoor tables or in the flower studio, and provide the how-to and a helping hand. Creativity and self-expression are highly encouraged! Pre-purchased tickets are encouraged but drop-ins are welcome, too. Recommended for children 7 and older because they’ll need to safely handle sharp clippers…but younger kids are very welcome with parent supervision.
About the Instructors: The whole Tiny Hearts Family will be helping out! Jenny and Luke own Tiny Hearts Farm, a 40 acre cut flower farm in the Hudson Valley, and George (9) and St. Clair (7), are already flower arranging pros and will be there to help out their peers.
Tiny Hearts Farm is a member of TheWorkshopExperience.org, a group of friends and neighbors who produce exceptional experiential learning through open gardens and workshops on a wide variety of topics in the Roeliff Jansen region, where the Hudson Valley and Berkshires meet.
Queen of Flowers: Arranging with Peonies $135
Saturday May 30, 2026, 1pm – 2:30 pm
at Tiny Hearts Farm Flower Shop in Hillsdale, NY, as part of the Workshop Experience Weekend

Get ready to dive into the art of peony arranging and create your own stunning floral masterpiece.
With their knockout beauty and delicious scent, it’s no wonder that peonies are known as the Queen of Garden Flowers. In this class, learn tips on how to care for peonies in your own garden, how to harvest peonies for excellent vase life, and how to store stems for use weeks later! Then, make an arrangement using our own gorgeous farm-grown peonies, paired with other May and June-blooming flowers and foliage, in a vase to take home.
About the Instructor: Jenny Elliott is the owner of Tiny Hearts Farm and Flower Shop, a 40 acre cut flower farm where flowers are grown and harvested for seasonal arrangements and event work.
