We’ve officially made the decision to remain open through the weekend for the summer season! In addition, we’ve decided to close our Flower Shops’ doors on Wednesdays for now. Wednesday has been a slower sales day for us and we simply need to put more time into the farm early week to make sure that we’re keeping up on the important work of seeding-planting-weeding-watering-harvesting that makes for happy customers and for happy farmers, too!
Closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (…out working the farm!)
Thursday – Sunday: 10:00 – 4:30

You’ll notice that our post is a little more brief this week. Things are really getting busy on the farm and we have less time in the office these days. We’re watering a ton during this dry spell, planting out thousands of seedlings, keeping a regular weeding schedule and sending out lots of orders for flowers and arrangements! We’ll be sure to keep up with our video updates and featured flowers each week and you can trust that you’ll find the most up-to-date availability list on our website! Also, POPPIES!

With temperatures headed high this week, we’ll be seeing a big change in the season! Cool-loving ranunculus and anemone will stop flowering in the heat, and the last of the tulips were just pulled out of the ground this morning. We’re still expecting to have ranuncs through the week, and maybe the last few next week even, but get your hands on these last bunches before they’re gone for another year. Tulips store beautifully with their bulbs on so we’re hoping to keep those in stock for the next several weeks!
Next up? Our third greenhouse is about to come into production, with sweet-smelling stock, bright-colored snapdragons, and winding sweet peas! Out in the peony fields, we’re seeing lots of buds but are probably at least a couple of weeks out on those.
