Queen of the Night

$20.00

These amazing, silky French tulips are nearly black and put on tremendous growth in the vase. A long-time favorite, super dramatic, and surprising to watch as they open and fade. (10 stems)

‘Queen of the Night,’ Tulip Bunch, 10-stems

We’re now offering curbside pick-up of flower bunches and arrangements, right from our farm in Copake! Order online to schedule your pick-up and check back often as new varieties and colors are blooming almost daily.

Important! Please read!

Pick-ups take place on Thursdays and Fridays, and the order deadline is 3 pm on Wednesday. When you check out, you will be asked to choose a pick-up time. Please pick up your flowers as close to your scheduled time as possible! We will bring your flowers out of the cooler to the pick-up area just before your scheduled time so they are not left sitting out in warm weather. We are not responsible for flowers that are not picked up within an hour of your scheduled pick up time.

We’ve been inundated with inquiries about flower availability over the last week and are so appreciative of everyone’s interest and grateful for the support! Since we’re just two people running the show right now (at a time when we would usually be a team of 6!), the farm is demanding nearly all our attention. We won’t be able to respond to special requests or inquiries at this time – thank you for understanding!

Pick-up Information: The farm is at 1649 County Route 7A in Copake (slate grey house, across the street from the post office). You can pull into the driveway or park in front of the house, and your order will be waiting for you on the welcome table. Pick-ups will be contact-free. For our family’s safety and yours, please do not drive or walk beyond the house – the farm is not currently open for visitors, and our small children don’t understand that they need to stay 6 feet away from you!

We’ll be bringing these guys to @tinyheartsflowe We’ll be bringing these guys to @tinyheartsflowershop tomorrow - but in tight bud so you can watch them gloriously open and change from coral to (surprise!) an indescribable antique rose shade 💕
Good morning from Tulipland on this particularly n Good morning from Tulipland on this particularly nasty, ice-spitting spring day! We are open @tinyheartsflowershop until 4, with tulips and potted flowering bulbs, to brighten your day!

These are strictly from one plant nerd to another! These are strictly from one plant nerd to another! Dwarf Iris ‘Katharine Hodgkin,’ forced in tiny pots, are on their way to @tinyheartsflowershop right now. Unusual, hard to find, ephemeral (these will flower quickly and each flower will only last a couple of days)…and also completely charming. Also at the shop are potted hyacinth that bloom huge and amazing, and mixed spring bulb planters (that each have those amazing little checkerboard fritillaria we all go crazy for!)
Open 10 - 4 today and Saturday!
We are picking gorgeous ‘San Martin’ this week We are picking gorgeous ‘San Martin’ this week. So far this is my favorite new-to-me tulip this season. If you get out very early on the morning of the first fall frost, perfect-looking dahlias are covered in ice crystals and it’s absolutely breathtaking. This is the tulip version (and unlike frosty dahlias it doesn’t turn to brown mush as soon as the sun hits it! 😂) Orchid purple with an outrageous white fringe that looks like ice ❄️❄️❄️ I know the first few bunches are on their way to @morningstarfarmstore this afternoon, and we’ll be bringing some to @tinyheartsflowershop tomorrow morning!
