Description

Sierra Glow, dahlia tuber Form: Informal Decorative | Bloom Size: 8 – 10” | Height: 5’

We’re so happy to make Tiny Hearts Farm dahlia tubers available across the nation! We’ve been growing on our tuber stock for years, carefully selecting dahlia varieties that are vigorous growers, great cut flowers, resistant to disease, and beautiful in the garden.

When you purchase tubers from us, you’re buying our own farm-grown stock. Sold as single tubers, each tuber is guaranteed to have a visible eye. When you receive your tubers, open the box, inspect tubers for damage, and store them in their sawdust in a cool, dry place until planting. We recommend planting as soon as weather and soil conditions permit – please see our planting guide for more information. If tubers are received in unsatisfactory condition, please let us know and send a picture of your tubers within 3 days so we can replace them for you. We are not responsible for tubers damaged due to being improperly stored after arrival, or to loss due to weather or growing conditions.

Note: For local gardeners wishing to save shipping costs and instead pick up outside our shop in Hillsdale, New York, that option is also available at checkout.

We’ve re-introduced a few crops this season that We’ve re-introduced a few crops this season that we grew back in the day but took a break from for one reason or another (mostly just to make room to try other flowers)!
We’re thoroughly enjoying having these ‘Bright Lights’ cosmos again, and they’re bringing back all kinds of memories from our early days of flower farming! I remember my flower mentor, Mary Lou, teaching me the right cutting stage and how, while each individual flower only lasts a couple of days, a properly cut stem will last the whole week. And how, in the first couple years that we did farmers markets, our most popular bouquets were made of bright lights cosmos, blue bedder salvia, and lemon basil and they smelled so good.
Also, as a proud orange lady, these are my very favorite color and I don’t know how I did without them for so long!
Surprise! We have so many DAHLIAS @tinyheartsflowe Surprise! We have so many DAHLIAS @tinyheartsflowershop today! Looking out over the beds it looked like we’d get a few bunches but when the crew got I to it there were loads of beauties!
