Sonic Bloom, dahlia tuber

$8.00

We love these because there are so many colors within one flower – magenta, purples, pinks, even hints of yellow and orange in the centers. The color may be indescribable, but that means they’re wonderfully easy to blend with other colors in the garden or vase! Tall and very productive.

Description

Sonic Bloom, dahlia tuber Form: Informal Decorative | Bloom Size: 4” | Height: 3.5’

We’re so happy to make Tiny Hearts Farm dahlia tubers available across the nation! We’ve been growing on our tuber stock for years, carefully selecting dahlia varieties that are vigorous growers, great cut flowers, resistant to disease, and beautiful in the garden.

When you purchase tubers from us, you’re buying our own farm-grown stock. Sold as single tubers, each tuber is guaranteed to have a visible eye. When you receive your tubers, open the box, inspect tubers for damage, and store them in their sawdust in a cool, dry place until planting. We recommend planting as soon as weather and soil conditions permit – please see our planting guide for more information. If tubers are received in unsatisfactory condition, please let us know and send a picture of your tubers within 3 days so we can replace them for you. We are not responsible for tubers damaged due to being improperly stored after arrival, or to loss due to weather or growing conditions.

Note: For local gardeners wishing to save shipping costs and instead pick up at our shop in Hillsdale, New York, that option is also available at checkout.

We’ll be bringing these guys to @tinyheartsflowe We’ll be bringing these guys to @tinyheartsflowershop tomorrow - but in tight bud so you can watch them gloriously open and change from coral to (surprise!) an indescribable antique rose shade 💕
Good morning from Tulipland on this particularly n Good morning from Tulipland on this particularly nasty, ice-spitting spring day! We are open @tinyheartsflowershop until 4, with tulips and potted flowering bulbs, to brighten your day!

These are strictly from one plant nerd to another! These are strictly from one plant nerd to another! Dwarf Iris ‘Katharine Hodgkin,’ forced in tiny pots, are on their way to @tinyheartsflowershop right now. Unusual, hard to find, ephemeral (these will flower quickly and each flower will only last a couple of days)…and also completely charming. Also at the shop are potted hyacinth that bloom huge and amazing, and mixed spring bulb planters (that each have those amazing little checkerboard fritillaria we all go crazy for!)
Open 10 - 4 today and Saturday!
We are picking gorgeous ‘San Martin’ this week We are picking gorgeous ‘San Martin’ this week. So far this is my favorite new-to-me tulip this season. If you get out very early on the morning of the first fall frost, perfect-looking dahlias are covered in ice crystals and it’s absolutely breathtaking. This is the tulip version (and unlike frosty dahlias it doesn’t turn to brown mush as soon as the sun hits it! 😂) Orchid purple with an outrageous white fringe that looks like ice ❄️❄️❄️ I know the first few bunches are on their way to @morningstarfarmstore this afternoon, and we’ll be bringing some to @tinyheartsflowershop tomorrow morning!
