It’s Winter Out There…But Spring in Here!

With construction projects ongoing, efforts to grow more flowers earlier, and staff on all year for the first time, this winter has been busier than ever. A lot goes on behind the scenes to bring flowers to market in our tough northeast climate!

Keeping Us Busy, Greenhouse Construction

It felt like a huge milestone to get plastic on the Bulbodome this week…Luke and Phil have been working for months on this Frankenstein of a building to get ready for this step! Plenty of work to do still until it’s move-in ready, but we now have a huge, 125′ covered, temperature-controlled storage space directly connected to a 50′ heated greenhouse…ideal for storage and forcing of bulbs!

Tiny Hearts Flower Shop: Magazine Perfect and Opening Soon for 2022!

We’re so proud that our beautiful little flower shop has been deemed magazine-worthy once again, this time in the March/April issue of Flower Magazine! This beautiful article, by renowned garden-writer Tovah Martin with photos by Kindra Clineff, celebrates our poppy obsession that spills over from the farm to the shop every summer. 

We’ll be opening for the 2022 season on Friday, March 11, with fresh-cut tulips, pussy willows, flowering spring plants, and more!
