Rip City, dahlia tuber

$9.00

We sometimes wonder if we couldn’t make a living by only planting ‘Rip City’ dahlias! Her elegantly pointed petals and deep burgundy, almost black, color make her a showstopper. Reliable, strong, and prolific to boot.

Description

Rip City, dahlia tuber Form: Informal Decorative | Bloom Size: 4 – 6” | Height: 4’

We’re so happy to make Tiny Hearts Farm dahlia tubers available across the nation! We’ve been growing on our tuber stock for years, carefully selecting dahlia varieties that are vigorous growers, great cut flowers, resistant to disease, and beautiful in the garden.

When you purchase tubers from us, you’re buying our own farm-grown stock. Sold as single tubers, each tuber is guaranteed to have a visible eye. When you receive your tubers, open the box, inspect tubers for damage, and store them in their sawdust in a cool, dry place until planting. We recommend planting as soon as weather and soil conditions permit – please see our planting guide for more information. If tubers are received in unsatisfactory condition, please let us know and send a picture of your tubers within 3 days so we can replace them for you. We are not responsible for tubers damaged due to being improperly stored after arrival, or to loss due to weather or growing conditions.

Note: For local gardeners wishing to save shipping costs and instead pick up outside our shop in Hillsdale, New York, that option is also available at checkout.

A big crop of broom corn is what the kids are most excited about, and bundles of this decorative fall classic will be showing up around town, including @tinyheartsflowershop this week!

Over the years, everything I’ve learned about putting colors together has come from accidental pairings in harvest buckets or buckets being haphazardly put next to each other on the truck! 🤷‍♀️😍
