You’re trying to reach the farm during PEAK SEASON! Please see below for answers to commonly asked questions!

September 1, 2022 By luke

Here is a quick post to help address some of the more frequent inquiries we’ve been receiving!!!!

Greetings and thank you for contacting us! You have reached the farm during PEAK SEASON! Most of the crops we’ve been growing diligently for months are mature, and our harvest days are epic! We’re also managing a large staff and interacting with many, many, clients concurrently.  If you have a question, please refer to the list below to see if it has already been answered!

Wedding and event inquiries

  • All of our wedding items are posted online here: https://tinyheartsfarm.com/weddings/. You can view pictures, prices, and descriptions for everything we offer, and complete your purchase online.  You can schedule a “ready by” day at checkout. You’ll also receive a quote for delivery on the checkout page—once your delivery address is entered—which you can then accept, or choose to pick up at our store for free.  Please note: we do not offer full-service floral design and do not offer on-site floral installation service, without exception.  Please save us both time and don’t call to ask if we will!
  • If you have any questions above and beyond what’s stated above, we will get back to you as soon as possible!
  • September is almost fully booked (4-days at the end of the month are still open!) and we cannot accept any new orders for this month.  The time is now to get your wedding orders in for late 2022 and we’re now accepting orders for 2023!
  • If your date is available on the calendar at the checkout page, there is no need to call to ask if we’re available, we are! Please get your order in as our availability may change and we often sell out during peak times of year.

Purchasing flowers using our webstore

Order flowers online here: https://tinyheartsfarm.com/flowers/. We update our flower availability list frequently and our website tracks inventory levels in real time.  If you see something you’d like, order it straight away and we’ll reserve it for you! It is much more difficult to field phone orders, email orders, instagram orders or anything else.  Use the website and we’ll both end up happy! Pick up is at our Hillsdale store Thursday-Saturday 10 – 4pm.

New wholesale account requests

While we welcome your interest in our farm flowers, our first priority is our established customer accounts.  If you’re interested in establishing a wholesale account with us, please do so using this page: https://tinyheartsfarm.com/wholesale/ We’ll review and approve your account as soon as we’re able to, which may take some time.

Our Hillsdale Flower Shop!

Our flower shop is always fully stocked with fresh flowers from the farm and is open Thursday – Saturday from 10-4pm for walk-in customers! We sell single stems, bunches and can make a few arrangements on the spot.  Please preorder for larger arrangements!

I hope that some of the above answers your question and THANK YOU!

Luke and the Tiny Hearts TEAM!!!

Spring flowers and our first workshops are here; and see what’s new at the farm!

March 31, 2022 By luke

It’s been wonderful to have the Hillsdale flower shop open again for the season – we’re really feeling the love and are so appreciative for the support and friendly faces!

Because of three nights of deep freezes and some very cold days, we didn’t open the online shop for pre-orders this week, but please come by this weekend as we’ll have loads of anemones, beautiful tulips, and hyacinth in planters (the apricot ones are new and gorgeous!) and as wonderfully-scented bulb-on ‘cut’ flowers.  Remember, this is also the first week of dahlia tuber order pick ups.  See you at the shop!

Tickets are on sale now!

We really hope you’ll join us and are looking forward to a season of many more workshops to come!

We’ll keep it short and sweet today, because it’s now spring and we’re busy!!! Simply use the links below to browse our flower availability for the week and pre-order anything that you find striking.  And if you don’t get to pre-order, remember, you can always simply pop by our shop and browse in person, we’ll always be keeping the shop well stocked with flowers!

  • No need to pre-order! Just show up to our Hillsdale Flower Shop anytime we’re open for the week and choose flowers from our display. We aim to stock the store abundantly whenever we’re open, but recommend you stop by early in the week so you can have first pick.

  • Remember if you’re a CSA member to bring your card to the shop. When you’ve picked out your goodies, simply have your flowers wrapped at the front counter and swipe your card for payment. Your CSA account balance will be automatically adjusted to reflect your purchase.

  • If you’d like to find out how much is left on your card, ask at checkout or use the link at the bottom of this page.

  • Make sure you come in the following week for more flowers! That’s it!

How to: purchase flowers online

  • Navigate to https://tinyheartsfarm.com/flowers/ to see a list of all of the flowers, arrangements, and other items available from the farm. Remember, we work diligently to keep this list up-to-date. If it appears on this page, it’s available.

  • If you’re not already, be sure to click the big green “Login to your account here” button to log into your user account. Your user account will remember your information and/or identify you as a CSA member.  This will also auto-fill your name and contact information on the checkout page.

  • Now for the fun part! Pick out the flowers or arrangements you’d like for the week. If you’d like more information on a product, click on the name of the flower or the picture to view more detail. When you’re ready to make a selection click the “Add to Cart” button to add this to your shopping cart.

  • When you’re finished shopping, click the “View Cart” link. You can click the small shopping cart found in the top menu to access the shopping cart. On the “Cart” page, you can make any necessary edits to your order and then proceed to the “Checkout” page by using the “Proceed to Checkout” button.

  • At the “Checkout” page, your name and contact details should be auto-filled (please enter them if they haven’t…). If you’d like to have flowers delivered to someone you can also click the “Ship to a Different Address” box and enter their information along with a personal note.

  • Under the “Your Order => Shipping” section please make sure to select “FREE – Store pickup” or “Delivery.”

Hillsdale Flower Shop Opening Day Weather Delay

March 11, 2022 By luke

We’re being told to expect a 6″ snow dump on Saturday…not exactly what we wanted for our flower shop’s 2022 opening weekend! That’s ok – we’re just going to push the opening back a little. So our new OPENING DAY IS FRIDAY, MARCH 18! The bright side of the date change is that you can expect even more flowers – tulips, willows, forced potted spring flowers, and more!

Tulips are THIS Close

All these pictures were taken in our greenhouse THIS WEEK! That means that with sunny days and warmer weather forecast for next week, we’re hoping to have our flower shop loaded up and even to send out the first pre-order list of the season!
Oh…and did someone say WILLOWS? We’ve been cutting hard and will have four big, beautiful varieties coming soon!

Bulbadome Update!

With a fresh concrete floor poured, it was time to focus on environmental controls this week. Luke and Phil installed a big sliding double door, hung the exhaust fan, and cut holes in the metal sidewalls for air-intake louvres.  This is so cool air will move through the house on sunny days, and it’s all therrmostatically controlled to maintain the ideal temperature range. Once the wiring was finished, we were able to move plants in! Crates of tulips were wheeled right out of the cold storage side of the building and into the greenhouse side – THIS is what the Bulbodome is all about. Cool, right?

CSA Welcome Packages

We’ll be mailing CSA cards out this week to those of you who have already signed up. In the packet will be instructions on how to use your card online or in-person at our Hillsdale flower shop. If you haven’t joined already, there’s still time to sign up!
